The Cranberry Institute recently brought together 30 food industry stakeholders representing 20 companies and organizations in Singapore for a US Cranberries Trade Seminar & Culinary Showcase 2026. Ms Alicia Hernandez, U.S. Regional Agricultural Counselor to Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei and representatives from FAS/ USDA were also in attendance.

Held at Jiak Kim House, Singapore on September 2, 2026, the seminar offered an engaging platform for industry leaders to connect, exchange insights, and explore the diverse potential of US cranberries. Yashna Harjani shared the science behind cranberries, highlighting their nutritional profile and health benefits, while Niranjana Doraraj provided insights into trade opportunities and the growing potential for US cranberries in the region.

The seminar was followed by a cranberry-inspired culinary showcase curated by Chef Seow Tzi Qin. The menu highlighted the versatility of US cranberries across a range of food and beverage applications, demonstrating how their distinctive flavor and versatility can be adapted to suit Southeast Asian palates.
