Oat & Cranberry Porridge

Serves 5

200 g oats
1 L low-fat milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon powder
5 Tbsp honey
200g fresh or frozen cranberries

Pour milk into a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Add the oats and cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens. Stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon powder. Add honey and cranberries, and cook for another 2–3 minutes. Serve warm. Top with extra cranberries or a drizzle of honey, if desired.
